Who We Are

Culver's^® of Aurora was established in November 1997 by Jim and Gerri Chaplin. Gerri grew up in the Lombard area. She was a teacher for 30 years. She taught for a few years at Downers Grove North High School early in her career and was a Professor of Business at Joliet Junior Collge for 26 years. Jim grew up in the Joliet area. He was a practicing pharamacist for 30 years before joining Culver's^®. After visiting a Culver's^® in Wisconsin, they decided to open their own Culver's^® franchise. They work in the store every day, often helping to serve customers. 

Today Culver's^® is a thriving business in the Naperville/Aurora Community. Culver's^® is famous for fresh, frozen custard and ButterBurgers - quality products made the old fashioned way! Our ButterBurgers are made from fresh, never-frozen chuck that is generally 5 to 6 percent leaner than the meat listed in major fast food chains. And those famous ButterBurgers^® are on a 4 inch kaiser roll that is lightly buttered and toasted for a taste-tempting flavor you'll savor! 

Great food, genuine friendly service, and a family atmosphere are what keep customers coming back for more! We deliver your order right to your table, just how you ordered it! And throughout the meal, we'll refill your coffee, and do whatever it takes to make certain your dining is enjoyable.
